Might actually be a very good thing in terms of an MMO that you can actually own and still play if it ever gets shut down. I wouldn't turn my nose up at that whatsoever.

Yeah, the private server space for GW2 is dead in the water. Has been for a long time. I don't think we'll see it be a thing either unless, for whatever reason, the server tools and software get leaked.
