Q1’25 PC graphics add-in board shipments increased 8.5% from last quarter due to Nvidia’s Blackwell ramping up
Data center GPU boards were up an average of 9.6% from last quarter.

Here's the latest for Q1 2025. In Q4 2024, Nvidia marketshare went down 4% with AMD gaining 3% to have a total of 15% marketshare, and Intel gained 1% to have a... 1% marketshare. Ok. And then in Q1 2025... Nvidia marketshare magically goes up EIGHT PERCENTAGE POINTS while Intel shrinks to 0% (wat?) and AMD shrinks to 8%.
How can this be POSSIBLY true? AMD cards have been selling like MAD. They're selling so good that vendors are changing way above MSRP for them. And Intel actually hasn't been doing terribly either. They got a nice foothold it looks like in 2024 along with all the hype for their next big card on top of that. But despite ALL that, despite Nvidia's CONSTANT driver issues and hardware issues, and despite 5090s being price gouged due to ridiculously low supply, and despite Intel proving itself as a solid budget option, and despite AMD now having rock-solid drivers... Nvidia gains EIGHT PERCENTAGE POINTS? In one quarter?
Gee, you know, it almost smells like Nvidia paid someone off... Oh wait, it does smell like that.
