Now I think about it, it may just be a way to stem the flow of AI bots scraping information from the forum. But if they're really going to do THAT, then they better have really damn good bot defenses upon account creation. And it's not enough to just filter emails to only accept the big names anymore like Google and Yahoo. Bots have LONG since overcome that particular barrier.Vendor-Lazarus said: -

@ Gauche:Would still be using Firefox v28 if reCaptcha worked on it instead of making sites completely inaccessible for no good reason - my banking app uses reCaptcha too and I have to "upgrade"/replace a 4 year old phone or go without it - while my banks cs team blames google no longer supporting android 10 I blame the reCaptcha integration as the app opens fine but logging in fails now - while I'm pissed off with the situation, I'd be infuriated if the phone was several hundred - tldr life would be better without it
