I totally forgot to post this a while ago.
This method works ESPECIALLY well for older games. Note though that this just tackles regular old Steam DRM. It won't work for any other kind of DRM.
The method is very simple. We're gonna cheat with a program called the Goldberg LAN Steam Emulator. What we're doing here is simply replacing the steam_api(64).dll file with our own. This file will pretend and tell the game that, "Oh yeah, Steam's totally running and this is all very legit." If you have any old boxed PC games that are tied to Steam, this is an amazing way to handle them. Drag-and-drop. No fuss.
I also packaged in another DRM removal tool called Steamless by atom0s, but the Goldberg LAN Steam Emulator has done such a good job by itself that I don't really know if it's necessary.
