For those who don't know, Erowid is a huge website dedicated to in-depth information on recreational drugs. Unfortunately though, the site is no longer allowing users to conveniently download a full backup of the site.
I had found a DVD archive of the site earlier but it was only up to 2012. After a day or two though... I had a thought. A curiosity. I did a search for "erowid" on /r/DataHoarder, and lo! Buried in the comments of a thread was an Internet Archive link to a 2021 archive of the site. Which actually kind of annoyed me because I had ALREADY searched IA for an archived version of Erowid.
But yes. Here you go. I will keep both versions of the site though in case anyone prefers the older lighter "official" version of Erowid that they used to ship out. Just a warning though. There are over a hundred thousand files in this archive, literally. It will take a while to extract it all or even to just open the file. IF THE IA LINK GOES DOWN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN RE-UPLOAD THE ARCHIVE TO SANCTUARY FOR DIRECT DOWNLOAD.
