I like how the cops ask people to do things while they're being tased. They can't. Their muscles are locked in place. That's why they fall over in the first place. If they were in control of their body, that would defeat the entire point.

of course they are superior, the quality of the metal used in European swords is much higher than what the Japanese had. The quality of the iron that Japan had access to was quite low and with lots of impurities hence the development of the folding method for the metal that they employed in katanas.

Yes, but even if the metal wasn't in question, the design of European swords was also better. Japanese swords could cut better than European swords, true, but a European sword with a leaf blade would also even make that advantage null and void.
