I don't understand how anyone takes issue with the reasonable expectation of basic courtesies, least of all putting in the effort to make a nigh 30 minute video about how it's not fair they can't operate otherwise...

That's very obviously not what the video is about. In fact I say "let's assume my ban and all the other strikes on my account are valid".

That's not what I take issue with. I take issue with the inconsistency of letting some users get away with 6 warnings, while others are given two or fewer.

Some users are questioning the race of another user, even going so far as to call them a "house n_____", an uncle tom, or an uncle ruckus.
Some users say that they genuinely don't care if they get banned and rack up 6 warnings.

Others get banned without a warning, let alone 3.

I was banned exclusively for the reason of using the word gamergate. Not how it was used, not in addition to other issues, not in the context of it being me or it being used in some offensive way -just using the word gamergate.

Anyone who uses the word 'gamergate' in a post on the Escapist will be immediately permabanned regardless of their posting history on that site.

Feel free to test this if you don't believe me. This is their actual fucking retarded rules. The Escapist can go fuck itself and Yahtzee's a little bitch for standing by such a shitty site.

Sort of true? Sanctuary was started a LONG time ago and originally had nothing to do with the Escapist. The purpose of the site didn't and still doesn't have anything to do with it either, though a TON of our regular users are from there admittedly because I took them in when the Escapist was really starting to go to shit to replace the toxic (I don't use that word lightly) fuckers that used to be here.
