My latest threads show exactly what I've been playing "recently". Got into a bit of a slump after the last Metroidvania. While trying to find a new good game, I decided to see just how bad Torchlight 3 is. It is very bad. Curse of the third iteration for H'n'S strikes again. Sacred 3, Diablo 3, Dungeon Siege 3, Torchlight 3.. It's almost enough to make me superstitious.

A long time ago. It feels like a series I'd prefer to watch than play. Maybe I'd feel different now, but I've tried getting into some of those combo-focused hack and slash games before, and the characters in the cutscenes are way more entertaining than the gameplay. Bayonetta is an example of another one I bounced off of, but I can never get enough of the insanity that is the intro cutscene and have watched it on repeat a few times.
