Been going through the DMC series recently, what are you guys up to?

I'm playing WW3, a multiplayer FPS that went F2P on steam.

I'm a fan of the Yakuza series, so next I'll get the Judgement games that recently came out.

I’ve been playing hardspace shipbreaker. Would be a lot more fun if they didn’t have generic and insufferable characters clearly written by a group of woke developers. But the core gameplay is decent if you’re looking for something fairly simple to play around in. Id recommend it but stay away from career mode if you don’t wanna get aggravated.

It's REALLY time to start playing new games, but fuck me if I'm not a creature of habit. >_< I'll get around to it.

The Yakuza games fucking rock, Ryuji Goda is one of my favorite characters of all time.

I'm partial to 64, Melee, and Project M/Plus. And yeeaahhhhh, I need more UT fans here.

Right on haha, I like all of 'em but I'm probably best at Ultimate. Haven't managed to play any UT since early high school though lol

I keep going back to UT99/2004 because it's so insanely modifiable along with the best bots in the industry, hands down. After 2004, we haven't really gotten a PC arena shooter that can compete with UT99/2004 since. I swear. Not one fucking game.

Newer games becoming more and more strict with user interaction is a serious turn-off imo. Let games be modded, the people already paid for the damn product. If you have guys to play with, I'd be down to play sometime - Can't promise I'll be any good though

Just been in a bunch of different social circles that tended to allow really awful people in over time. I found this place through a rational sub on reddit and figured the folks participating wouldn't be headaches to hang out with. I'm not an outcast or anything lol, just tired of obnoxious folks ruining fun

Well, you've come to the right fucking place. We're about as laid back as you can get.

By the way, it sucks because we used to have our own UT2004 server, but we had to let that go after a while due to money. Would have made this event a whole lot easier to do. I'd pay for it again, but I already got a big chunk of my money (finally) heading to advertising for Sanctuary.

Bringing back the Minecraft server would be really nice as well.

CO-OP Minecraft Servers (especially modded) are insanely fun timesinks. If you manage to get one going you can definitely count me in. Also glad to hear, this site's userbase and older layout are really appealing. Modern-net feels like a bit of a constricted hellspace sometimes.

But yes, keep your eyes peeled for an event posted soon. Do you just want to do vanilla UT2004 or UT2004 with Ballistic Weapons as well?

Roger that. Yeah, UT99 definitely has the best out-of-the-box experience, but UT2004 has more modding capabilities and a better engine. Both have absolute fuck-tons of community content. All up to you which one you'd like, but when you decide, go ahead and let me know.

There are a few apps, I primarily use Discord to stream to my close friends, but watchtogether might work if that's still running around.

We can try Discord streaming again, but if it stops working for some people, we're gonna have to see if watchtogether still exists. And I hope so because Discord streaming is too often a risky proposition of it deciding to work that day or not. lol
