I've been purging my online presence, getting out of reddit, discords and all that stuff from internet 2.0/3.0 however you wanna call it. Yeah I kno wit isn't web3 but thats what it feels like.

I was on the old totse, I was on zok, so I'm an old guy but those places shaped me who I am today and I'm happy to take part and just talk about the old days (they really do seem like yesterday) and go on about whatev.

I was just thinking about this earlier, but there was a guy in some third world country who was banging his aunt and his sister(with pics)

I also remember reading a really long thread about gangstalking. In summation the guy was saying people were following him around and using some kind of acoustic weapon on his loved ones to make them sick and die and even had a link to a page you could buy said item.

There was a smiley of a smiley face with a little yellow dick that would jack off and nut. They took that from us though after every thread was spammed with pages of the mr fap smiley

It was the official substitute of TOTSE after TOTSE shut down, though it existed before that. Had a reputation for having pretty immature members.

Net Sec: Too niche. Just use the T&T sub-forum.

Bad Ideas: This sub-forum was a bad idea. Ever since it was created way back in the TOTSE days. It tends to attract a bunch of absolute shitheads and losers while also conveying the wrong idea of what Sanctuary and TOTSE are about. Not to say that you can't post and talk about illegal things here. (As long as it fits into the rules.) Go right ahead. But I don't think it's a good idea at all to make a whole sub-forum JUST for illegal and shitty things.

Oh sure, there was some fun posts in it, but by and large, I am a very strong believer that it had a large net negative impact on the entire TOTSE community. I mean, there's a reason that community went through 3 (maybe 4 if you want to count Jeff Hunter) different admins who all noped the fuck out.

Yeah, but also, jenkem lol.
I like the idea that knowledge should be free and it shouldn't be taboo to talk about stupid things. It's how many things were discovered, and everyone is at a different stage of life.
But 100% agree on the attention, it was fun having my zok username quoted in a few news articles of the day and online news linking direct to my posts.

We're a little more strict about what knowledge should be shared here (for example, other people's social security numbers is probably not a good thing to release to the public), but yes. Again, we still fully allow talking about stupid, taboo, or illegal things. We just don't have an entire sub-forum dedicated to that is all.
