Good question. Vendor made an interesting comment once when I was making videos where the video embed didn't display for him at the time, and it was kind of annoying getting the URL for the video when it does that, hence I just started posting video links without embedding them in case there's any issues with the embed itself or the video. It's also easier for copypasting later on, should you need the base URL.
