What is your perception of ASMR?

Personally I'm mostly indifferent to it. I get what people mean when they talk about "the tingle sensation", but for me personally some thot licking a microphone or trying to be sexual just doesn't do it for me. I do periodically watch the Hololive girls ASMR stuff but that's just audio rather than visuals so it's more appealing. Can'tt explain why I enjoy listening to it though. Some of the them do slightly more sexual stuff on their personal accounts but that doesn't do anything for me and I don't understand how people can get off to it.

For the most part ASMR vtubers (hololive or otherwise) still do that. Some go for a roleplay thing, but assuming that dl list is yours, then you'll know that already

Or at least, whatever sexual crap is being passed off as "ASMR" these days anyway. Honestly, if you're doing blowjobs to the microphone, just call it porn and at least be honest, but I guess honesty is in short supply these days.

ASMR is obviously the highest form art can take, however since I don't have any interest in art I haven't really watched listened to much. Only the highest quality streamers do ASMR, however. Double points if it's in a hot tub, which I'm positive the previously linked video was recorded in.
