What is your perception of JASMR?

Grabbed a 940gb torrent last week titled ecchinakoe_final_torrent. Had a bunch of DLsite files and figured they were smut games. Turns out they are all audio files. Half right. Digging into it I found a whole guide on the matter, in which, makes a point to not refer them as JASMR.

There are various reasons for this, I will list two of them. First, ASMR is subjective, so it wouldn’t be valid to generalize it as something that everyone will experience.
Second, and this is the more important reason, these works originated from Japan, and they’re not called that. If you insist on calling them something other than “voice works” (which is the most common referral: 音声作品) you could consider “drama CDs,” “radio drama,” etc. Just. Don’t. Use. JASMR.

So naturally, the thread title will be just that.

On that note, I love Radio Dramas.

Significantly, the J makes them japanese after all. Result of is lots of ear cleaning.
Mainly, you can image search ASMR and not be immediately flooded with lewdity. This is not possible with JASMR.
Woulda included a grid of thumbnails for comparison but they range from vanilla to full on hentai.

I remember falling asleep with in-ears listening to an album on repeat one night, full blast. Whole day after brain was replaying the entire thing non-stop. Must be awkward as hell to have that phenomenon occur with these tracks
