You misunderstand. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but it’s not enjoyment in “stealing” that draws me in. I don’t have the attention span to dig through people’s old bullshit for content.

It’s the curiosity in how it ever was left unlocked in the first place. That’s what gets me. Back when the internet was young, everyone knew to keep your personal life as far away from here as possible. But somehow along the way, we forgot. And I want to understand the thought process behind that.

After all, I’m Just A Butt. I have to get behind everything.

Hoping that ending with a little levity lets you know that even with the serious discussion, we can joke around.

Sometimes the only way to deal with things is to laugh at them.

Probably something about not wanting to know the cow before you eat the hamburger.

As to your question though, the answer is MySpace. MySpace happened. Technically there were networking sites before that, but MySpace was where it really got a foothold. It taught everyone that it was OK to be open and share things about your personal life. Whether this was ultimately bad or good, I'll leave that up to you to decide, though as you can probably guess, I personally prefer forums over any other kind of social media.

This was already explained earlier in the thread, but again, the gist of is that I got careless, thinking I knew the community.

And you know what, I don't even mind the verbal lashing I got. It was kinda deserved. But yeah, that ban crossed the line.

We have linked Michael to Arnox so this person using that name and mentioning pill distribution and trying to play the sympathy to lure in suckers. Arnox is the second to reply and its worth noting that the first one to reply and the one most critical to this, was banned.

See, you come off as real naive and/or ignorant here. I got anything but an appeal to sympathy from SwissedToast's posts. Chris begging his audience to buy his stuff off ebay is playing on sympathy. SwissToast was playing a character

He has ideas on how to get it to him. Michael can reassemble it himself but doesn't have access to live rounds. 45 ACP is ideal over 9mm. 10 round mag is ideal over revolver. His ideas include out-of-state offline meet up and covertly mailing pieces or the whole in a cereal box filled with copper plates/wire and other scrap metal to avoid detection. Using a false return address and mailbox dropoffs will help ensure nothing happens to the sender. Michael is home alone all day everyday now. He will get to the package(s) long before his dad comes home at 8pm.
