I feel Konami is "SLOWLY" trying to redeem themselves.

From what I have seen from Konami after the fallout with Kojima I feel right now they are slowly trying to redeem themselves in small ways. By this year alone we have seen them do this:

Allows Metal Gear and Castelvania content for the upcoming Smash Bros. game with Snake and the Belmonts as playable charcaters.

Re-release a 2 game pack of Castlvania Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night on newer systems (From a game preservation perspective, this is a good thing)

And of course continuing to give the OK to the Castlevania Netflix series which will begin its second season in Octobur.

So personally I feel these things are signs that Konami trying to work their way to redeem themselves after the fallout of Silent Hills and Metal Gear Solid 5 with Kojima. What do you think?

To me they would fully redeem themselves if they allow say Blue Point games to remaster/remake the first 3 Metal Gear Solid games they same way those guys did it to Shadow of the Colossus on the PS4. (Metal Gear Solid 3 especially using the assests of that pachinko machine, and have the controls of Metal Gear Solid 4 and 5)

That's funny because I see those things and I see Konami saying "Free money!!!".

Allowing content in other games is free money to them with no work. Here's our IP, give us money.

Re-releasing games is pretty dang easy. Granted, this is probably the most friendly thing they're doing so I'll give them half a point

Allowing content in a Netflix money is again, free money with no work. Here's our IP, give us money.

Frankly, most people see those moves would almost certainly think "Cash Grab", not "Redemption".

Ha, no.

The only part of Konami that I've seen giving a shit about anything in recent memory is the TCG part (Aka the guys that handle yu-gi-oh and other such nonsense).

Whatever is left of the company game-development wise seems to currently be focused on the minimal amount of work necessary in order to make money, both of the last MGS games have been shameless cash-grabs and everything else on the horizon appears to be ports which will probably contain zero to no effort on the developers' part.

Both?

There was only Metal Gear Survive?

Yeah, I'm going to say no.

It's a lot harder to hold a grudge when they are allowing/putting out serviceable content, but I don't think this is any real effort or work to improve their standing with their customers.

Hit the lever

I don't think they'll ever be redeemed, at least not to me, unless they get bought out by a foreign company.
