    Yes, I am talking about mental maturity, and yes, you are right that people these days don't reach mental maturity till at least 21, but 18 is what we got, and we need to enforce things at least SOMEWHAT instead of not at all.

    Not "at least 21". It's at least 30. 25-30 in fact. https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/encyclopedia/content?ContentID=3051&ContentTypeID=1 18 is also not "what you got". You got 16 in most states. You prude. 18 is entirely an arbitrarily made up number. It's "just a number", without any form of backing at all. Not biological or mental.

Using Pale Moon, old.reddit uses about 600MB RAM, but changing to sh.reddit uses 3600MB RAM. For something that is essentially the same. Now that is useless modern bloating of sites!

    Ack. Sorry, my bad. Got a few things wrong with my testing. Old Reddit settled down at 660 MB of RAM but initially spiked to 710 when first loading. New Reddit settled down at around 860 MB of RAM but initially spiked to 1 GB when first loading.

    That's really cool, but not necessarily the revival Windows 7 would need to fully come back to life unfortunately. Specifically, there are still no hardware drivers for anything modern, and modern programs and web browsers are also still gonna have major compatibility problems with it, even if you install something like KernelEx.

    For how long though? In any case, no modern hardware support is just becoming too much of a dealbreaker now. And keep in mind, I say all this as a huge fan of 7 and even Vista somewhat.
