@ Arnox:That's really cool, but not necessarily the revival Windows 7 would need to fully come back to life unfortunately. Specifically, there are still no hardware drivers for anything modern, and modern programs and web browsers are also still gonna have major compatibility problems with it, even if you install something like KernelEx.

@ Lost-Zeneration-99:Don't get me started on everything is a RAM or resource hog. Even a "New" Laptop I feel will crash at boot up. I had to turn everything off at boot up since every blot app wanted to get my attention or something.

Use Steam. Run it as a non-Steam game using Proton. That is the quickest method. As to the DE for Windows XP, there's actually a lot of Windows XP lookalike skins for KDE (heaviest but even KDE is still light nowadays), XFCE (middle of the road for features and performance), and even IceWM (lightest but lacking the most features). I'm assuming you want maximum performance, so just use AntiX Linux with the default DE.Vendor-Lazarus said: -
