The reason why it's necessary is because we don't want to have people's streaming interfering with another person who would perhaps like to stream. It's also just more convenient for viewers when they know what's coming up instead of having to check the channel all the time.

Edit: Also forgot to address something you said in this quote. If the Sanctuary channel hosts another channel, it would just be as if you're streaming someone else's stream. So there could be no conflicts. You'd say, set my stream as host, so people visiting the Sanctuary channel would see my stream, and then if you got sick of my shit, you could switch it to Houseman's stream if he's going on at the same time. Users of this site would still visit the Sanctuary channel, but they would be getting content from all the streaming users instead of having the users fight for control over the channel itself.

It probably is, but I'm also SERIOUSLY thinking of adding a dedicated home page instead of just dropping you right to the forum. It's more convenient to do that, but it's not as elegant for potential new users who visit.

Yeah, a home page would be nice, and a great place for the imbed. I'm not sure what the limits of twitch are, but selecting a host channel can't be more complicated than all the manual work of scheduling already is. I estimate it's going to be about the same complexity for you, but more user friendly overall

The kind of games that I'm more proficient at is first person shooters and surprisingly unpopular indie games.

So, based on my recent Steam purchases and having completed Distance I can probably stream Strafe, Thumper and Redout as that's what I'm gonna be playing for the next days.
