Less "Stream is an extremist site" and more "Extremist pieces of shit gather in places where moderation is absent long enough and thusly extremist pieces of shit can be found on the larger Steam platform".

I'm personally for pushing knives down their throats, or wrapping metal wires around their necks, or setting them on fire, or any other way you can think of to literally erase them from existence.

People who adhere to a sick ideology that tells them people of certain faiths, skin colour or ethnicity are "subhuman" and don't have a right to a normal human life, or life at all, are a danger to society and ought to be eradicated.

To use an analogy from school; when someone bullies you, you don't let it happen because "if I push back, they may get more extreme", you deck them and put an end to their behaviour.

This is much more an argument for the importance of free speech rather than not defending yourself. Also, not all extremists wish violence upon minorities. Some are just plain old assholes.
