So, after two intense-as-fuck movies back to back, I decided I needed a bit of a palette cleanser with something simple, cute, and, hopefully, funny. Thankfully, I think this movie did deliver on all that. In fact, the three-star rating I think is a little too harsh against it and it should probably be three and a half, though one REALLY needs to keep in mind what one is getting into here before one watches this. This is about four rich-bitch middle-aged women dicking about, having fun, and rediscovering life. Nothing more. But that's completely fine because not every movie needs to utterly shatter my mind and break boundaries. I think this movie is also entertaining because it's told from a perspective we don't actually really see all that often at all in movies, and it's kinda refreshing.

Ok, ok... This is definitely not a flawless movie. Some of the humor hits right and sometimes, it just doesn't. Sometimes I can roll just fine with this movie, but other times, it's very clear I'm not the target audience here. lol But you know what? Screw you. I do what I want. And I want a very lighthearted movie I haven't seen before. There is one other thing I really like about this movie and that is how it pulls itself together surprisingly well at the end, coming in with not just one but a couple good little speeches on love and individuality.

But yes. This movie is definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I still think there's a lot of enjoyment to be had here if you approach the movie on its own grounds.
