An Update on Sanctuary's Potential Upcoming Technical Videos

I'm gonna get straight to the point here. After thinking about doing YouTube videos again, I am finally left with two main conclusions. One, I would definitely like to do videos again, but also, two, that I don't think I'm going to be doing any more technical videos. While the video format may be easier for people to take in, the main issue comes in updating the information. Let's just take the Windows video for instance. This video is over an hour and fifteen minutes long. Thankfully, I did have the presence of mind to break up the recording into sections, but even then, the sections are, on average six minutes long each, and I also need to redo the graphics transitions, and finally, I would need to somewhat redo the music played in the video. All to simply add a few new bits of information here and there. It's just not worth it at all. So, in summary, there will probably not be anymore technical videos and I'll just focus on putting that information in article form on the forums.

I'd like to hear people's thoughts on this though.

Technical videos should not be "living documents", that get updated to remain current. It's often not worth the effort, as you have learned.

I always prefer reading information/articles than watching it. Includes pre-interest games, but I do want to see gameplay as well. I can't be arsed with any voice/sound only thing at all.

Another issue with technical videos is that the information in the video can become out of date. Unless you can either rerecord or miraculously splice updated information for a reupload you basically can not do anything about it.
