It can be for either monetary reasons or personal reasons.

Burned physical game copies don't count. lol Also, CIB means Complete In Box.

Personal Reasons:

Halo: Combat Evolved, original release, almost CIB, missing manual
Halo 3: ODST/Halo 3: Mythic Disc, CIB
Halo: Reach, CIB
Timesplitters 3: Future Perfect (Xbox), CIB
All Elder Scrolls games (Xbox/Xbox 360), GOTY editions, all original release, CIB
Forza Motorsport 4, Complete Edition, CIB

What, burned don't count!? How else am I going to list my GOG games?

(Almost) joking aside though;

Anachronox
Anno 1404 Gold
Beyond Good & Evil
Civilization 2,3,4
Conquest Frontier Wars
Deus Ex 1
Diablo 2 & LOD
Dungeon Keeper 2
Dungeon Siege 2 Deluxe
Extreme Tactics
Fallout 1,2
Galactic Civilizations 1,2
Imperium Galactica 2 Alliances
Impossible Creatures
Master of Orion 3
Outcast
Pharaoh
Sacred Gold
Space Empires IV
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
Sword of the Stars Complete Collection
Thief 1,2
The 3rd Millenium
The Elder Scrolls Morrowind
The Settlers 2
Titan Quest & Immortal Throne
Torchlight 1,2

No idea about original or not release or CIB.. They all have boxes and manuals. By no means the entire list, as I skipped games other people may fancy, like Descent, Rise of Nations/Legends, Gothic series, Unreal series, and more.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Complete in box, except the map which is framed.
Ratchet and Clank. CIB
Fallout 4 Collectors Edition. CIB
Diablo Battle Chest. CIB

There's probably others, but those are the first that come to mind. I never keep games for monetary reasons, given I rarely sell them

I just realized that every single game I have that is still in physical form is a burned copy except for AVP2 and the first Max Payne. Man I was such a poor motherfucker back then, buying burned CDs was cheap and easy and nobody gives a damn about all that copyright stuff over here.

I have Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3 I'm very proud of. Ended up with a copy of Earthbound too, but I never really connected with that one.
