Related to the Web Integrity API... has anyone tried to watch something on the internet, a movie, netflix, hulu, etc., and been blocked from doing so because of your browser 'not being compatible'?

If so, what did you do to get around that?

I haven't, but I don't use those myself. Your best bet is to enable google WideWine most likely.

I'm using Waterfox, but I kind of feel like it hasn't updated in a really long time and a bunch of websites don't work properly. I should probably switch to Palemoon.
Hello,

Many of our employees openly support and recommend the use of the Palemoon web browser. On top of giving the feeling of "taking it in the ass" many report to me that it is operated and maintained by a "really hot" furry of homosexual persuasion who goes by the moniker of "Moonchild." While this "Moonchild" figure remains mysterious, he has no problem "fucking people in the ass" as proven by his online activity. While I am not a furry, I can understand the appeal of his toned anthro physique. Despite these positive features, Lockheed Martin will not be approving of the web browser for internal company use unless explicitly needed by a client or loaded onto an "off network" computer.

Yours Truly,
James Taiclet

This comment made me literally laugh out loud.

But yeah, I see the PM devs later retracted their termination, so that's good at least, but it strikes me as perhaps too little too late? I dunno. I wanna hear Vendor-Lazarus' take on all this tomfoolery.

Honestly, I know you're probably gonna be against this, but when a service you paid for is actually going out of their way to not provide you service for no good reason, I would definitely consider it within your moral rights to start pirating.

I'm not against that.

I'm just asking the question, not because I need help or advice, because I want to know if YOU have encountered any of this before.

I have not. But I also just watch YouTube videos so I'm not really in a good position to comment on this.

That specific sub-dev (not the main dev) have been banned from Pale Moon and the forums since more than a year now. He was always extremely antagonistic (although he was right much of the time). Like defending their branding. Firefox is equally vociferous in opposing anyone using their brands in a non-open source way. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/foundation/trademarks/policy/

As for the rest. Yes, the main dev Moonchild is using an anthro avatar. No, he's not a homosexual or a fursuiter.

Fair enough. That satisfactorily settles the matter for me.

I'm pretty sure a looot of FF devs are "furries" (another misused word painting a broad picture containing vastly different things) as well, since it is a bit more prevalent on the left side. Pale Moon is politically neutral, except for opposing google. Both of which can't be said for FF..

I definitely find many furries can get a little "hugboxy" but yeah. Fandom is insanely varied. You'll get random members of the fandom that range anywhere from absolute chad and some of the coolest people to be around, to basement cretin who posts super badly drawn Sonic art.

I was thinking more along the lines of those using Furry as a catch-all term for Furry/Anthro Art (non-sexual), Furry/Anthro art (sexual), Fursuiters, and Otherkin. But yeah, there's a great deal of variation among those as well, though ranging from more to less as it goes along I'd think.

Hello,

It takes one to know one, and trust me I know one. Moonchild, AKA M.C. Straver, AKA WolfBeast has quite an impressive collection (warning, hyperlink redirects to content which violates the Lockheed Martin Code of Conduct, view outside of workspace).

I seem to remember another admin we are all familiar with admitting to being a furry. This is probably the wrong site to complain about furries on. Right place for dick sucking tips, wrong for furry smack talk.

It's the only reason I come here aside from the premium gang rape videos.

Well, I'm a furry too, for a given value of furry.
At this point, it feels like everyone's a furry. It's like when coming out was once a serious thing, but now everyone and their grandma sucks dick.

Ok, you know what, maybe I went a little far with that one.

Palemoon has always given me lots of stutters - didn't think much of it as v28 Firefox, which I used for years, did the same
Finally looked into fixing it, figured it was one of my addons excessively writing/reading
Turns out it has something to do with polyfills, thanks reddit thread

Watched a Twitch stream all morning and didn't experience a single stutter
Feels fucken good

You actually put up with that for a while? That would infuriate me very quickly.

Just a heads up that you don't need the PaleFill addon as of v32.1.0. Most recent version v32.4.0.1 should be used.
