Looks like my old community has finally discovered this site has been reopened.

To be quite honest, I don't trust them not to try to shut this place down. So if you guys experience problems with this site in the next few days, this is why.

The good news is, my host should restore functionality relatively quickly after these attacks. Also, I do backups of the site data regularly, so that's not a problem either. Nevertheless, I'm sad to find this out. I thought they had long since forgotten about this site and I preferred it that way, but looks like that's not gonna be the case any longer.

Oh, so much fucking drama. I swear this community couldn't function in the morning without crying over something. I tried again and again to keep them happy and to try to get them to grow up, but I realized too late that the only thing they would be truly happy with was a pit to sling their shit in.

I don't want you guys to end up like they did. It's mostly why I've been so cagey about saying exactly where this site came from. Even before I very first started Sanctuary up I mean. The site we came off of was utterly amazing. But people began to misunderstand what it was all about. They thought it was about Carnality and shit-flinging. About breaking the law, no matter what it was. The meaning of it all got so corrupted that in the end, I just flat out abandoned them. I could not build a site with that userbase at all nor did I want to. I mean, I knew as the site would get more and more popular, we would get those users sooner or later, but to start out with a community full of them... I don't think I could have made it work.

Sploo actually made Sigma leave the community forever by threatening to post his PI, inb4lock has been gone for a while, and Rocklin, Fanglekai and Idio left when Idio's PI was posted on his site and they've only posted once or twice since then

Hell, the only reason why this site is back open at all is because the Escapist site has REALLY fallen on hard times and I wanted to provide a place where they could come to if they wanted. Also, I deeply missed the loose rules and forum style I had. I've grown to heavily dislike sites like Imgur and Reddit after being forced to post in them for so long. Having this site back is a breath of fresh air.

You may be warned for the following:
- Blatantly derailing a thread and going completely against the conversation flow or constantly derailing threads with the purpose of harassing users.
- Bumping a thread that is old unless you legitimately have something to add or contribute.

I already unofficially warned CCC about it before and then they did it again. Gave them an official warning. Then I think they did it TWO MORE TIMES. Yeah, banned for a day.

Secondly, have you ever heard of MAKING a new thread? Isn't it neat? Forums allow you to MAKE your own threads! Imagine that.
