Haven't been paying super close attention to the whole trial, but I've seen enough to know he's not guilty.
That and that the prosecution have been comically incompent, which has been far funnier than it should be.
"your honour, he didn't shoot me untill I pointed my gun, which I was carrying illegally, at him" What a great witness

What do we think the verdict should be or what do we think the verdict will be?

I do know this. A few crazy people will harass and maybe even attack the jury if Kyle is found innocent, but if he's found guilty, there will be a MUCH bigger backlash since this case will set precedent for defending yourself.

If you've been following the news, we now know that he is not guilty.
To anyone following the case, and seeing all the videos, I don't think this was ever a question. Of course, he acted in self-defense. This was obvious.

It'll set precedent in the eyes of public opinion, maybe, but not in courts of law outside of Wisconsin. Just because one judge in one case ruled on way on a certain issue, it doesn't mean that similar cases operating under different laws in other states have to rule the same way.

Technically, you're absolutely right, but we all know how much of a domino effect this could have one way or another.

Should've clarified it, "what do you think the verdict will be"
Doesn't matter now, cause my timing is shit and, as Houseman points out, he's not guilty.
Which is not surprising at all. Any with two eyes and two brain cells could tell it was entirely self defense.
I think the new question is, does antifa riot or not now.

As innocent as Kyle is, I do wonder what his parents were thinking letting their kid just wander into a riot zone with a rifle.
I imagine something along these lines
"son, there comes a time in every mans life when he needs to kill a pedo. This is your time"
maybe, idk
