Civil War (2024) - Tim pools wet dream, not the Marvel one

It was fine, honestly.
I was expecting something...more, I guess. It doesn't really explain why the civil war is taking place or who is really fitting who beyond California and Texas allying together. The first two thirds of the movie were kinda meh. Its basically a roadtrip to Washington, along the way they meet some militia guys who don't really do anything untill the third lot of militia guys who are supposed to represent a right wing militia, i guess. Idk, they were just depicted as racist before being unceremoniously hit by a car.
The third half was pretty good though, I would've liked more of that. It's just an assault on the white house reminiscent of MW2, which was pretty enjoyable.
I was really expecting something more...civil wary, and it just didn't really deliver on that.

Yeah, it doesn't really explain why a deep red and deep blue state would ally together. Nor did it explain why some states were seceding.
It was a real nothing burger until the end.
Also one of the main characters dies in the last 10 or so minutes, and the movie just immediately moves on.
