(Alright guys, I'm going to be halting the forum game for a while as Battousai is dealing with a lot of IRL bullshit right now. I'll check with him in two weeks, but I imagine things won't be cleared until a month in. I'll let everyone know when we're going to pick it up again.)

Turn 10

WARNING: DIMENSION WILL COLLAPSE ON TURN 25​

Friend, thinking quickly, begins to sign that they were there to fix the barrier, but Elijah, eying this, blurted out, "You want to fix the obelisk?" Friend nods enthusiastically as she gives the thumbs up, but Elijah quickly lost patience with these proceedings as he rolled his eyes and sprang at the weathered guard (Guard 3) putting a very deep cut into his right arm with his longsword, making Friend frown in dismay before she, too, responded by slashing at the weathered guard as well with a dagger made of light, cutting his chest, making him gasp in pain. Aizen comically tries to throw one of his chef's knives at Guard 2 with almost no combat experience whatsoever, but the guard he was aiming for laughs and merely dodges it. The guard wasn't laughing for long though as Aizen sliced at the second guard with his sword, securing a meaty hit into his chest, making him scream and stagger back.

With this sudden assault by the group, the guards responded quickly in turn. The weathered guard attacked Elijah with his own longsword now, but Elijah parried his strike. The other four guards had better luck though. The first guard fired his bolt at Elijah, getting a clean hit as well as Friend being struck with the same attack by the second guard. The fourth guard, seeing Elijah as a more vulnerable target, saw fit to fire on him as well, but panic made him miss his target. And finally, the last guard sighted in Aizen with his crossbow and fired the last crossbow bolt, but panic made him miss as well.

As all this carnage happened, it didn't take long for Cresee to run out of the room in fear, going into the kitchen again before hiding behind the doorpost.

Turn 11​

Elijah, eyeing the current battlefield, puts his sword away and begins to charge a glowing ball of lighting in his hands. Friend, betraying her name, mercilessly swipes a chunk of meat off of the weathered guard with her bright dagger, making him grunt in pain even more, his movements becoming a little slower and stiffer. While that happened, Aizen makes a strong strike with his longsword, hitting the second guard in the knee and slicing it off, making him scream as he falls to the ground and begins to die from the blood loss. Once this was done, Aizen scrambled over to the far side of the room and quickly picked up his valued chef's knife. He, after all, could not forget his brutish kitchen beauties of worn wood and cheap iron.

The weathered guard, seeing Elijah beginning to charge a spell, held his sword out and yelled, "NOW FOR THE DIRTY WORK, LADS!" The guards then pulled their swords from their sheathes as well and charged upon the group. The weathered guard in particular took his opportunity to strike out at Elijah,, but Elijah quickly dodged out of the way of this. The first guard yelled out and came for Friend and successfully secured an anger-fueld strike upon her along with the fourth guard, making her clench her teeth in pain as the two iron swords pierced her flesh. She then looked back up and smiled a little at them both as her wounds slowly began to heal before their eyes, making the first and fourth guards widen their eyes in fear. The fifth seeing this, panicked again and decided to go for Elijah this time, but he failed once more as Elijah expertly jumped out of the way, the ball of lightning now fully charged and pulsing in his hand.

Elijah realizes that 2 of the guards are standing on some unsteady floor, he ignores the 3rd guard and blasts the lightning bolt at the floor between guards 1 and 4.

Turn 12​

As the first and fourth guards advance grimly on Elijah, he smiles a little, seeing something that no one else does. Then, he quickly unleashed his charged electric blast, but not on any of the guards, but instead on the section of floor they were standing on. It turns out that it was very unstable now and that section soon crumbled and gave way to what seemed to be a dark deep crevice, causing the two guards to fall through the hole, screaming before their screams were finally cut short with a dull thud. Friend and Aizen, seeing this, soon attack the fifth and the third guard respectively, utilizing the guards shock to surprise them. The fifth guard suffered a deep cut into his left shoulder blade with Friend's ethereal dagger, but the third guard was speared through with Aizen's longsword before Aizen brutally pulled it out, making the guard captain fall to the ground, dead and twitching.

The fifth and last guard backed himself into a corner as he held his wounded shoulder blade with one hand and his sword with the other, quickly losing his will. But as he gazed upon his fallen comrades, it seemed to suffuse him with the will to fight once more. Now, with a steely glint in his eye, he screamed his defiance and lunged towards Aizen, preparing a powerful strike, but as the guard struck out, Aizen was able to dodge the worst of the blow, only getting sliced a little upon the chest. Seeing his own failure, the guard still stood defiant, sword at the ready. "Fine... Kill me! You'll never be anything more than tools. May Kraos stay forever dead and gone!"

Elijah fires a direct lightning bolt at the 5th guard and he replies "Unlike you I will never be a broken tool of a system that oppresses the weak for their own entertainment, die pig!"

Aizen takes a moment to survey the scene, watching as elijah blasts the last guard before cleaning up his own wounds

Friend works to deactivate the obelisks, or otherwise ensure that they are deactivated.

Turn 13​

The fifth guard continues to look defiantly at the group, but Elijah just smirks at this. "Unlike you," Elijah yells, "I will never be a broken tool of a system that oppresses the weak for their own entertainment. Die, pig!" Elijah then sents a quick lightning bolt to the man's head, blowing him back to the ground where he now lay dead and twitching from the electricity. Once this happened, Elijah and Friend then closed their eyes and shuddered at something, staying still for five seconds or so before shaking their heads and resuming what they were doing before.

Friend headed over to the obelisks and looked them over, making sure they were deactivated. They definitely were, and it was professionally done as well it looked like. It couldn't have been accidentally disabled with the way it was. Aizen looked around the room. It was quite the scene of destruction. Dead bodies, a gaping pit, and a scarred obelisk told of the mayhem that just ensued in this room, some shot and blunted crossbow bolts scattered around here and there. Besides the small earthquakes rocking the entire planet and the continual distant shouting from guards and prisoners alike, there was nothing further of note.

Cresee, after all the carnage had finally finished, had crept meekly back into the room, biting her lip. "Are they all... Dead... ?" She knelt down to a guard a bit and felt his neck for a pulse. There was none. "Oh, dear... I wish it didn't have to be like this... " With that, she hung her head in sorrow.

Aizen looks over at elijah and friend and says "well, looks like you've got that sorted" before looking over to cresee and, with a grin, says "hey girl, give me a hand will ya" as he then proceeds to loot the guards, before dragging their bodies to the pit and tossing them into it.

Elijah follows Friend to look at the courtyard "Better get out of here fast, I have a bad feeling about this, no point standing still."

Turn 14​

Aizen nods to Elijah. "Well, looks like you've got that sorted," Aizen says before looking over to Cresee and smiling grimly. "Hey girl, give me a hand, will ya'?" He then began to loot the bodies of the guards.

"But... " Cresee said, her voice small, "That doesn't sound very respectful." Nevertheless, she reluctantly began to help Aizen.

Unfortunately though, they didn't really find anything of note. Some numerous guard-related equipment. Some memorabilia not really worth anything. After, Aizen began to engage in the odd task of pushing the dead guards into the giant crevice just opened up earlier.

With that, Friend and Elijah went over to peek into the Courtyard. "Better get out of here fast, I have a bad feeling about this, no point standing still," Elijah said. Thankfully, the Courtyard didn't seem to have any guards there. Or there was, but they were all now taking a dirt nap. Beyond the dead guards, there was no sign of anyone else and specifically, no sign of that mysterious person that let them all out of their cages. Cresee went over to anxiously look upon the Courtyard as well. "Is it safe? It looks safe... "

Elijah follows Friend into the courtyard while looking at Cresee, he feels something strange from her but can't really place it at the moment, so he decides to keep watching and be on guard just in case.
