Aizen turn his memory stone over in his hands once or twice, admiring its crystalline nature, before deciding to slip into his pocket.
"not yet, old friend" he mutters to himself

Elijah looks at the trinket "Mmmm curious thing, lets see what those imperialistic rats have stolen from me." Elijah uses the stone.

Turn 6 (cont.)​

Aizen looks at the bag in his hands, considering his options before finally pocketing it.

"Not yet, old friend," he mutters.

Elijah and Friend though are now overcome with curiosity and after some looking at the bag and thinking, they look to each other and nod.

"Mmmm, curious thing," Elijah said. "Let's see what those imperialistic rats have stolen from me."

They then empty the bags out into their hands. And once the ruby had just contacted the skin of their palms, red pulses of energy traveled up both their wrists before going inside of their arms. They both froze in place as this happened, their eyes wide as they stared at seemingly nothing. It only lasted for several seconds, but they still stood there dumbly for several more, somewhat shocked at everything they had just learned before finally coming to themselves again.

Elijah and Friend use their respective memory stones. Aizen saves his for use later.

Elijah answers "Sure, I could eat. All this running around is making me hungry, found anything good in the boxes?"

Turn 7​

With the memory stones secured, Friend and Elijah shake off their shock, now thinking of progressing further into the kitchen. Friend gestures in that direction and Elijah and Aizen nod.

"Sure," Elijah said, "I can eat. All this running around is making me hungry, found anything good in the boxes?"

But Friend was being cagey or maybe she just didn't quite understand and continued to gesture towards the kitchen and Aizen merely shrugged. In any case Elijah sighed and went to the door with Friend taking the lead, and soon they were off again!

Or, they would have been, but right before they opened the door to the kitchen, a young scared servant girl with dark brown hair, the same one who had given them their food before, had burst through the door, almost knocking Friend over in the process, her arms raised above her head in a protective gesture.

"Oh gods! Please don't hurt me! I... "

She stopped and began to look around, lowering her arms.

"Oh... Oh!"

Seeing you three, she then fell to her knees before you all.

"You're those prisoners, right? Please take me with you! A hooded man told me I should find you all and go with you. I don't know quite what he meant but please, you have to get me out of here!"

Aizen looks the girl up & down before walking around her in a circle, and asking her "and what can you offer us in return?"

Elijah says "I don't mind taking her out of here, as far as I know everyone here is unjustly imprisoned by these oppressors. I'd probably free them all if I could just to mess with their plans."

Turn 8​

Aizen circled the girl looking up in hope at all of them from the floor with those cute blue eyes of hers. It didn't seem Aizen was sold on the idea of having possible dead weight in the group though.

"And what can you offer us in return," he said rather heartlessly. The serving girl hesitated and bit her lip in fear.

"I, uh... But... I don't have very... "

Friend smiled to the serving girl though and ignored Aizen as she pulled the serving girl to her feet, clasping her hands with the serving girl's in friendship. She then gestured something about prayer and temples or some such.

"Oh," the serving girl said, smiling and blushing a bit. "I'm a bit religious but I'm not sure I'm as religious as all that." With that, Elijah then spoke up.

"I don't mind taking her out of here, as far as I know everyone here is unjustly imprisoned by these oppressors. I'd probably free them all if I could just to mess with their plans." The serving girl seemed a bit taken aback again but quickly recovered and began to bounce a little bit in place, smiling happily.

"Okay! I'm so glad you guys are taking me along! Thank you so much! I'm Cresee by the way. We should get out of here as soon as we can! ^^"

And with that, they went to the door leading to the kitchens again, and slowly opening it in caution revealed that there was... Nobody really inside. You thought you saw one prisoner noisily gorging himself on bread, but beyond him and the one or two dead bodies strewn around the floor, there was nothing of note. As you all come in mostly silently, you think you hear a heated conversation beyond the door to the Level 2 Living Quarters.

"... And what is that supposed to mean? You were supposed to have this contained 10 minutes ago... Bah... Doesn't matter now... " This voice sounded familiar to you, but you three couldn't quite place where you heard it before. The only thing you could bring to mind with that voice was a vague sense of heavy distaste.

"Wha'? Why doesn' it matter?"

"Look around, you dolt! This pocket universe is beginning to collapse! And I can only hope that it's going to collapse on the heads of every single one of those bastards who served Kraos."

"But... They'll repair it!"

"This isn't a matter of a broken gear or two, you epic dumbass. Just go. Get out of my sight before I tear you apart. Tell the kings that I'll meet them shortly."

After that, you heard the sound of feet quickly running off, then more slow deliberate steps. Then silence, except for the sound of mindless eating in the corner.

Aizen, Friend, Elijah, and Cresee are now at the Kitchens.

Friend peeks in the barrier room

You see some stone obelisks in the room. From your experience, you know these to be [REDACTED, CHECK YOUR INBOX]. You see five guards in the room standing watch and looking rather jumpy. There may be more but you can't risk a larger peek without possibly alerting those same guards.

I see no rule that says i can't carry knives, in addition to my long sword

Elijah takes some bread, he was hungry after all. He sits down to eat and wonders what the hell is all that noise coming from the living quarters, but decides to avoid going there and go into the barrier room instead.

(Uh, are you guys sure you wanna split the party? I especially wouldn't recommend @gaijinkaiju going out alone. lol)

Aizen walks back over to friend, puts his hand on her shoulder, wipes away a strand of hair from her face before looking her in the eyes, and simply says "I have no idea what you just said"

(For the future, make sure you guys are being as clear as you can be when telling me what you wish to do. For example, if you're halting and waiting in the room for further talk or if you're wanting to go to a different room or etc.)

Turn 9​

There was some confusion in the kitchens, but you all came to an agreement as you got a bit of food and also some cutlery before you left. As you all walk into the barrier room, you're greeted by the sight of what looked like... A floating glass orb at the center of a circle of stone obelisks. The glass orb seemed to have Xiada within it, but the orb was also red and cracked.

Right after you notice this though, you're quickly greeted by a more weathered guard in the middle of the group of five. Two guards on both his left and right flank held crossbows and were now aiming them at you three.

"Halt, or be destroyed! Men, fire at will if they get too close."

Cresee squeaked and threw her arms up over her face in panic and surrender as she knelt on her knees.

"No, no, wait, please don't shoot me!"

The weathered guard smiled wickedly at this.

"Ohhh look, you're that new, cute serving girl... It makes sense that whores would join up with slime. You know, I believe Garen was looking for you too. Wanted to show you how to respect your betters..."

Aizen now has 3 chef knives which do 3 damage on strike and 6 damage on a successful surprise attack. Aizen, Friend, Elijah, and Cresee are now at the Barrier Room. You will now be in combat if anyone initiates a strike.
