We mark another revolution around the sun, indeed.

I do not make a big deal out of it. I am not feeling emotions. I can't bring to mind anything that has stood out enough within the last year.

While darkness agrees with me, I can't say the same for approaching absolute zero, or having to chase air to breathe.

I want to stay where I'm currently at until spring and +15c arrives.

Well, my celebrations had a somber underbelly. Everyone knows Grandpa isn't doing too well, so everyone in the family was taking selfies with him. Otherwise, I hung out with my aunt and cousins until 2am before heading home. Even watched the old 1993 movie of Coneheads. Silly, stupid movie but it was a lot of fun, and Chuck from Better Call Saul showed up to be 30 years younger than I'm used to seeing him.
