Man Builds a Custom CNC Machine (That's Actually Really Good)

This video makes me want to drop everything and become a mech. engineer.

EDIT: Really quickly, for those who don't know, a CNC machine is like a 3D printer except it can work with FAR more materials than just plastic including steel, wood, and stone. With the right expertise and enough materials, you can make damn near anything.

Do you have a link to the vid on youtube?

I've blocked google/youtube third party cookies with eMatrix, and can't be bothered to re-write the URL away from the embedded version.
(Fun fact, just embedding a YT vid places 99+ (140, no 150 now) cookies on this page.)

You should be able to right-click and copy the URL directly. Alternatively, if that fails, you can also quote the post and click the cog wheel button on the far right that will toggle the raw view. That will give you the full video code. So just put that code right at the end of "https://youtube.com/watch?v="

You can't right-click the embed to get the URL?

There is no embed. It's blocked. I only get the embedded URL. similar to the one Gauche linked. Even if I open it in a separate tab, it's still embedded and blocked. I only asked if I could get a non-embedded URL because I don't want to re-write it manually. That's it.

Thank you. Pretty interesting alright. My neighbor has built a wood carving CnC(?) in his barn and it's pretty cool. To combine several types is creative and fascinating. I wish I had the motivation and follow-through to do something similar myself.

It's more like the opposite of a 3D printer. And I'm pretty sure they have 3D printers for other materials like metal and concrete.
