Has Nvidia ruined their reputation for both this and the next GPU generation?

I have never seen a GPU launch be quite as bad as the GeForce RTX 50xx series. No less than 5 problems at launch, and even now, Nvidia STILL cannot fix their hardware drivers (at least on Windows). I imagine this reaches into even the datacenter world that Nvidia is so lovingly sucking off at the moment.
