I found this rather interesting as a case, and have included articles from both sides. Apparently the mayor, Michelle Wu, sent the police a list of people who had repeatedly protested against her outside of her home. It is unclear if the mayors office pushed this onto the police, or if the police requested the list. Both seem to be pointing fingers at each other, although I am more inclined to believe the former rather than the later. Not the first time that city police departments have been used to prop up the power structure of those running them. Not sure I buy the take in the second article considering the list of names included people actively running for office who criticized her. Would love to hear others thoughts/analysis on the matter.

See here on why most public protests suck. I don't think it's cool to park yourself in someone's yard and be a harassing nuisance. In fact, I think that's an offense deserving of arrest.

Then again, where did the list of exact names come from? This honestly smacks of both groups here being bastards to each other. Just in different ways. Perhaps I'm not understanding things?
