Any other fellas enjoying some good hearty soups/stews this cozy season?

I made some slowcooker pork roast soup for the family today and it's already about gone haha

I also made slowcooker pork today!

I just put a pork butt in the cooker, seasoned it, let it cook for around 24 hours, then added some rice so it would soak up all the juices.

It'll last me the whole month, maybe more.

For me, a soup really isn't substantial unless it's chunky enough. Beyond that, I love a good clam chowder. Make sure to get chopped bacon in there as well for that that last bit of flavor. Beef stew can be pretty good as well, but few people actually make it properly. Also, not sure if this counts, but regular Cambell's mushroom soup makes for a very good easy sauce on so many things from egg noodles to chicken.

I don't eat soup at all, and the only stew I eat that I can think of (verified STEW) is rabbit stew. Not sure if a few other dishes I know counts as stew.

No stew or soup this year yet (I have made some great chicken noodle soup in the past), but I did get a bread maker and it's doing its job very well.
