Hello, I am Ram2219, a former Kiwi Farms user. If you don’t believe me, I’ll tell you a story.


I joined Kiwi Farms in February 27, 2019 and the reason is because when I was on Rotten Websites Wiki, there was a page about Kiwi Farms and GethN7 wasn’t happy about it. So, I devoted myself that I’m joining Kiwi Farms to see if it’s a bad site or not. After all, they are also pro-GamerGate supporters. Before I start, I’ve only been on Kiwi Farms in less than one day.


Anyways, when I joined Kiwi Farms, I was really excited that I have no idea what’s the purpose for the it. Also, I didn’t know what does lolcow means and I thought most of the KF members are lolcows themselves. When few KF member did a friendly greet to me, I greet them back. The first thing I post was I was on Introduction Thread saying “Sup guys! I'm new in this website and I bet it's a place where pro-GamerGate lolcows hang out here and talk stuff... something like that." Then I was excited to speak to GethN7 on Kiwi Farms since he’s an admin on Rotten Webities Wiki. I posted a comment on his profile post for having feeling his pain for RRW making a page about it. Geth replies that Kiwi Farms deserves criticism, but only based on plausible facts. (I wish I could add a screenshot, but I seem can't. So I'll link to GethN7's profile, anyways.)


This part where things fall apart. When I joined the Kiwi Farms Review thread, I go overly optimistic to greet everyone on the thread, saying that I’m new around, and asked what’s going on. Drama, says Tealeaf. I replied that I joined the bandwagon about the disagreements with RRW page on Kiwi Farms, saying that a person who made the page is an SJW. Then I questioned that is Kiwi Farms a harassment site that stalks people and have hatred towards Autism. YayLasagna (which the name I find catchy like Bitch Lasagna) replies that Autism is just a funny insult and shouldn't be taken seriously. Autism is just for fun, I said. Tealeaf replies that harassment is only intervening, Kiwi Farms doesn’t allow to interact lolcows. Then, he said that they love to make fun of autism, but not hate as there’s no point hating someone who’s goofy and funny for reasons out of their control. However, he said that Kiwi Farms documents horrible people, like pedos and animal abusers, that it more dreadful. I asked it’s a yes or no, and Tealeaf said “It’s a “no”, the farms don’t harass people.”


Now this a best part where GethN7 jumped in explaining to me everything about Kiwi Farms purpose and, boi, I love that guy. This is what he said to me and it so poetic:

Like ED, we make a lot of commentary that is just to be insulting, and while we do place a greater emphasis on trying to be factual (any dox that is poorly sourced we admit to and will correct), our word on anything should not be taken as gospel, rather we comment, and our secondary sources on facts should bear out whether anything we say has any substance.

Lots of people hate this place because it's a repository of the things they'd love the internet to forget and alternatively curse us for being horribly accurate or claim this place is full of lies, or both, depending on how they think it will make people not believe anything that can be proven that is posted here, and since that's just them making a bigger fool of themselves (the wise thing to do is just ignore what we post here), that just gives us more to discuss.

Ultimately, we just gossip about people who can't help but make fools of themselves, at least in the main forums. We have some off topic forums for other types of discussions, but the main topic here is to point and laugh at idiocy expressed by people or groups who cannot resist making fools of themselves, and while we people from all walks of life here, we take no sides in particular save one:

Goddamn, I was so astonished that I made a huge mistake. I said “I see now, Geth. Now I completely understand the purpose for this site: making fun of people who spread misinformation about Kiwi Farms. Anyways, Rotten Websites Wiki has updated it's Kiwi Farms page and I think it has remove some bias points. Now, it looks like the page is underwhelming.” And you know what someone said? “Lol kill youself faggot” says Null with a creepy dog picture. After that, I somehow got banned on Kiwi Farms for no apparent reason and I was very angry that I made a thread on Rotten Webities Wiki, me complaining about it, regretting that I shouldn’t say that, and planning to make a YouTube rant about it. And the holy Geth said the one that banned me was Null, the owner of Kiwi Farms, and gave me an advice to skip the YouTube thing and move on. I agree with him.


After I moved on, I realized that Kiwi Farms is about making fun of stupid people. Yet, I missed being there. But still, I lurk on Kiwi Farms, usually, until I found a thread that mentions about the Sanctuary site that is basically a rip-off of Kiwi Farms. So I check it out and willing to join site, as in now.


So, I’m basically new here and I’ve no idea what’s the purpose for this forum. Is it really a Kiwi Farms knockoff? I mean, it's too bad there's no emojis in this forum, unlike Kiwi Farms. lol

This forum is not a KF ripoff. It is a TOTSE ripoff, if anything. Read the history link that Houseman provided. It explains everything. Right now though, we found that just making a forum based on freedom of speech and information was not enough so we decided we were gonna do what we wanted to do and just became a general gaming clan. The site unites us and gives us a place to be who we want to be and talk about what we want to talk about. And of course, to arrange gaming sessions. It is our sanctuary away from the bullshit of the modern internet and I strive to keep it that way.

In fact, I think all of us pretty heavily dislike KF and what it stands for. Furthermore, KF openly says it's a place free of overbearing moderation but I got banned for having the GALL of making site suggestions. Admittedly not at all a good choice for my first post there, but my poor taste aside, the site staff are a bunch of hypocrites.

To be honest, I don't play video games, anymore, since last year. I expected this forum is going to be about roasting SJWs, but I don't see anything related to politics if I'm right or wrong. I more-so into political stuff, but I still have a heart on video games, especially Red Dead Redemption 2.

And what do you mean about Kiwi Farms are full of hypocrites? All I know is that they do a friendly greet to me when I joined and then stabbed me in a back with KYS sign before getting banned... something like that.

Their admin very recently vehemently refused to work with NZ police and hand over user data. As if he cared about his users. But then he does shit like this. And even if the user violated rules, that's pretty unprofessional.

Seems both KiwiFarms and Giraffe is a place for in-circle-jerking. Tight-knit groups of trolling edgelords looking for drama.

What you linked are the boilerplate rules that every XF board ships with by default. The KF staff though are too lazy/incompetent to change them to what they actually are.

To be honest, I don't play video games, anymore, since last year. I expected this forum is going to be about roasting SJWs, but I don't see anything related to politics if I'm right or wrong. I more-so into political stuff, but I still have a heart on video games, especially Red Dead Redemption 2.

Well, we do have a political slant against the SJW types, and if there's something to discuss, we usually will. But unless someone wants to start digging up articles where SJWs are SJWing and make threads of them, we're not really gonna talk about it as a topic. A lot of us are refugees from The Escapist, where SJWs bulldozed the community into being a hellhole. Heh, the community manager recently said that the word "globalism" is a hate speech word because some article he linked said it was anti-Semitic, and that you will be banned for saying it.

As arrogant as it might be to say, I think the way we run things, we are far better than most forums that are seen in a fair few areas, and one of those areas is the rules which you can find here. And as needless as it should be to state, you will NOT get banned for anything that the rules allow. Unlike KF, we actually respect our users here and the idea of free speech.
