I need help in not playing video games, so I'm asking you all to convince me not to play them as I randomly pick them.

Today I ask, why shouldn't I play Grim Fandango Remastered?

There's an achievement where you have to play the whole game with tank controls. It's the whole reason I didn't play the game back when it came out.

Tank controls aren't that bad.

I played the remaster and never played past the first chapter. I used to like these kinds of games as a kid, but I got tired of some of the weird puzzle solutions and playing off of a guide isn't fun either.

A game being dated or having a few bugs are not game ruining for me, as long as the game is interesting, as long as the bug doesn't literally make my computer explode, implode or do anything else that ends with lode.

Weird puzzle logic is sort of a given with the genre, and I usually don't have a problem with it, unless it is really bad.

On the other hand, I do really hate tank controls, which is the best complaint about the game so far.

Damn someone beat me with the tank controls.

I guess The second issue that I find with the game is that it takes forever to get good?

As in: the introduction of Manny's journey lasts like 5 hours.

Is it slow due to trying to world build and to set the mood, or is it slow to prolong the game?

You bring out your arguments of why I shouldn't play a game, and I'll decide if they're valid.

Not my fault if you have unconvincing and/or unclear arguments.

Well, my answer is that it's world-building, which is a positive.

Prolonging 90%
Only about 10% of the characters introduced in the prologue has any significance later on and the rest is 5 hours of puzzles.

Disagree. There's a lot being set up about how the afterlife works and Manny as a character. He goes through a great arc by the end of the game, and if the beginning was shorter, you'd get less of a sense of how much he changes and how much he earns the ending.

Nigga whose side are you on? Do you want or do you not want him to play the game?

I mean, we could tell the truth about the game, or we you let him know that every time he plays it, a puppy gets aids. That's a good reason to not play it.

I mean can you prove that every time he plays a puppy doesn't get aids? I think your argument is as based on reality as tank controls dude.
