I was talking to Arnox on Discord, and she said I should post about it here.
The last two weekends, I've been playing this with some of my friends, and it's been an absolute blast. You pick a game, choose your random settings, and then all your games get scrambled in a blender. Each player will be playing a game of their choice, and as they play, they will unlock features and abilities for players in other games.
As an example, I was playing Hollow Knight, and my friends were playing Starcraft 2, Risk of Rain 2, Rouge Legacy, and Factorio. While they each did their own thing, I was able to find and buy units for Starcraft, unlock equipment and items for Risk of Rain, allow for revised run options in Rouge legacy, and gift research and items to the guy playing Factorio.
By the end, the other players had found enough charms and abilites for me to fight the final boss of Hollow Knight, and once I was done, I was allowed to "forfeit" and give all the remaining undiscovered items in my game to the players.
If people want to set aside some time to get a game going of this, click the link above, and see if there's any games you want to play. There's instructions for each of them on how to get them running, and each game handles things differently. I found that the Nintendo/Emulation games are a bit tricky, but since I've done it once, I know I can guide someone through getting it set up if that's the games you want to play.
