Let's say that the government, the U.N, or even the deity of your choice, gives you a free pass to murder one individual. You have a no-strings-attached license to kill. Nobody will judge you, nobody will try to get revenge. In fact, you might even get praised for it. You are carrying out an important duty and everybody is on board with it. Anything you need will be given to you, plane trips, a car, a gun, access to any building you want, whatever you need. You have the full backing of international powers. You can kill a terrorist, or a leader of a country, or just your upstairs neighbor. As part of it, you can also gather information on this person, as well as detain and interrogate them. For example, you can have their computers searched. You can publicly expose all of their crimes, if any. That way, you can have a clear conscience that who you are executing absolutely deserves it, if you need that. If during the investigation you decide that the person doesn't deserve death, you can let them go, and decide whether or not to make the information public. Who would you kill, and why? Even I have a person in mind, I'll answer after some of you give answers.
