So I know what we all secretly have wanted to do since we were kids. Play console games in the car! Well now you can!

All you have to do is spend a lot of money, and you will be able to play Zelda while you drive!

1) Buy a SNES classic

2) Get a USB Car adapter

3) Acquire a USB Powered portable HDMI monitor

And before you ask, yes, I have bought all of these so I can play Zelda in my car. Traffic sucks, OK? This is the best way to deal with it.

Biggest problem here is definitely the monitor. I'd personally just invest in a Gameboy Advance SP or, if you don't mind spending more for more functionality, go for a "New Nintendo 3DS" or "New Nintendo 2DS" and then just hack it.

Oh, then you don't know! The SNESC can play NES, GB/C, SNES, GBA, Sega Genesis, and Playstation games! I won't be just playing Zelda, but every good Castlevania from the last 20 years! And Lunar, and Metal Gear and Chrono Cross, and Mega Man X, and every Squaresoft game before Final Fantasy X!

I won't be playing Sonic the Hedgehog. That game is for faggots.

This does look impressive, but I gotta say, you should have just used a hacked Switch or something. You would have more selection to choose from and a better controller.

A switch probably would have made more sense in the long run, however there's several points it won't address
-it costs more
-I'm trying to consolidate my retro games into one go-to system so I don't have to keep starting my save games over
-The monitor is usable to give me dual screens on my laptop
-Playing SNES Classic feels closer to the real thing than any other emulation I've done
-This is unique and therefore cooler than a switch.

Pros for the Switch option:
-Breath of the Wild in my car.

Which I could get with my Wii U and an AC/DC converter. Of course it still would be cheaper than a Switch, and I can also use my monitor for the Wii U if I actually do that in the future.

Got my good old trusty PSP for that kind of work!
Psp was pretty good, but some of my favorite snes games didn't emulate well.

My monkey eyes spy Golden Sun. This pleases my simian sensibilities. You have escaped my excremental wrath.

This time ...
Yup! Played for 2 hours after work. I cut my commute home in half and got a 50% increase in gas mileage.
