Although this site has been technically 2.0 for a while, it didn't have HTTPS for a long time as well, which was the cherry I really wanted to add on top of the Sanctuary cake. I finally achieved the full transition to HTTPS today however, and now I can finally announce that we're truly officially version 2.0.
We've made a LOT of improvements and a few additions since the last update. Hopefully I can think of them all here, but if you guys can think of anything I missed, let me know. A quick but grateful thanks to bluegate for CSS editing and nested quote suggestions.
Additions:
- Full HTTPS support has been permanently added.
- Dice roll BBCode has been added. The code will even check for post tampering and will display a warning if someone has done so.
Changes:
- Site logo has been redone.
- Problem with www.intosanctuary.com URLs breaking the shoutbox has been fixed.
- Site borders will now only extend to a maximum width of 1200 pixels.
- Maximum amount of topics to display in the Recent Topics bar has been lowered from 15 to 10.
- Miscellaneous forum modifications have been fixed to comply with PHP 7.x standards.
- Fixed pages displaying with an unneeded left/right scrollbar in Neutrality theme.
- Changed Shoutbox input background color in the Sanctuary Classic theme to be the same color as the Shoutbox background.
- Quotes in posts will now have a maximum of one nested quote.
Removals:

As to why HTTPS took so long, it all came down to miscommunication with my hosting provider and bad documentation provided courtesy of Cloudflare. I was banging my head against a wall for weeks due to so many questions and issues, and I was just about ready to give it up. Thankfully though, I finally figured it all out, and now this site is fully secure. Even the HTTP content from other sources that are posted here like images. All secure.
Anyway. If you have anymore suggestions, please post them here. Otherwise, get to work with the thread-making. More threads for the thread god.
