Well, one of the head designers of the original Fallout games (Timothy Cain) really liked it. Lots of other YouTubers like it. I also know a lot of YouTubers who absolutely hate it as well. I don't know if my opinion here is valid though because even though I've seen a shit-load of Fallout: New Vegas being played, I haven't actually played New Vegas too much myself, and other Fallout games, not at all.

To be honest, I never really paid it much attention.
I am one of those Fallout fans, you see. Fallouts 1 & 2 are easily near the top of my personal "Best Games Ever" list, but I never bothered with any of the spinoffs, and as far as I'm concerned the series died with Interplay. Hell, I couldn't even bring myself to care about New Vegas despite it being made by (some) of the original devs because it didn't play like a goddamn Fallout game; give me Van Buren or don't even bother.
So yeah, I took one gander at the series and just said "thanks, but no thanks".
At least MauLer's 2-hour rant about it was entertaining as usual.

Same here. Fallout 2 for the win. Damn shame about Van Buren. I've played Fallout 3 though, but it's nowhere near Fallout 2.
