World Record You Wish You Could Break?

Just learned that there is a book of world records in gaming.


Wondering if we could team up to break one. Is there any you would like to break?


Haven't read the book, but I hope it is not full of boring records or we could come up with a fun one.

I actually have a copy of the 2015 edition, its not as interesting as it sounds really. mostly fill of most expensive thing in x game, hardest achievement in x game, bestselling game etc, though there are some kinda interesting ones dotted about
As for records i like trying speed runs personally, not that i'm any good at them.

I really like speedrunning and do it often. But only casually. When I do it competitively, then it starts to become a boring job. You gotta work on strats. You gotta start grinding areas. You gotta do the same sections in a game over and over and OVER. I don't wanna ruin my favorite games by doing all that, so I never tried to be competitive with it.

Trying to break one of these "gaming records" would take more time than I'd be willing to invest in it.

There is one Guinness World Record that I'd like to try though, it's about seeing how many powdered donuts one can eat within 3 minutes. The thing that makes it sound feasible to me is that the donuts need to have a minimum diameter of 6 centimeters, which are basically mini donuts.

Here's a guy trying it, but he went with roughly 8cm diameter donuts, so he made it extra difficult for himself.

Not about gaming, but for me it would be worth to die to break the record of biggest number of people to mass suicide by destroying a bio/nuclear/chemical-weapon facility possessed by a crazie.

That seems so oddly specific. So, what, if I look and they don't have a record for how many Donuts are eaten in 27 Minutes? Eating 1 would have to suffice, I doubt many people would think to look up something that oddly specific. In fact, wouldn't it make way more sense to just get like the fastest donut eating speed? Or at least determine a set amount of Donuts that have to be eaten?
