Technically, besides the mods, the forum is actually using very up-to-date software. The latest SMF plus PHP 7.x. It's most probably the editor mod I have installed and PHP 7.x (again) not liking it.

Not big, at all

Only things in it are the Quote Splice mod linked above, and a mod version of the Nested Quote Cutter, although I would very much like to extend it to make it so that there's a box in the administration panel where you can define the depth of quotes to cut.

How about a "no forum vandalism" rule. It's broad enough to capture jerks, but specific enough to not just ban anyone that you dont like. Can you see a way that verbiage could be abused beyond the intent it's for?
