What are some good sources for news?

So I been working on a RSS feed lately and ran into an issue of I have no idea on where to start in finding good news sources. I want to steer away from the sensational ones like For or CNN, but I have no idea on what to look for. What would you fellas suggest as I be open to any really.

Thanks for the list @Vendor-Lazarus I will check them out. Oh course leave it to Google to kill something important or useful. I do have to say useing RSS makes a world of difference, as it doesn’t feel as in your face as much.
