I don't think I need to tell anyone here just how fucked TikTok is. You guys of all people know. I've also already touched on this in my video explaining the reasons for Sanctuary and I don't need to repeat it. With that said though, Sanctuary is about asking questions, particularly new and interesting questions, and the question of today is, "Is TikTok causing this degradation in society, or did this degradation exist in society even before TikTok and the app is just revealing it all now in full gory display?"

I know I've read so many stories of teachers telling how many parents are harassing them and not allowing their children to take responsibility. TikTok may be truly awful, but I think the only reason it became as popular as it is in the first place is because we as a society let it happen. Parents are not parenting. People became incredibly self-centered, and as this all happened, things that would normally have disgusted us as a society are now not only acceptable, but popular.

Even if we could totally delete TikTok off the face of the planet, our problems would remain. We would just be hiding them. The app is a symptom of an even bigger issue. Our own little black mirror. And the more we try to shift responsibility away from others, the worse it's gonna get. If it wasn't TikTok today, it would have been something else tomorrow. Anyway though... Just something to think about.

I've heard that the Chinese TikTok has a different algorithm that only shows acts of kindness, community upbuilding, hard work, and good parenting, stuff showing the good in their society.

They do this purposefully. Do we do those things they show us? Yes. But we do a lot more than that. By only focusing on the bad, it makes it seem worse than it is.

I don't believe banning "social justice malware" problematic stuff is the right way to do it at all. Educating the population properly is. And no, that doesn't mean brainwashing either. Just straight up facts, logical arguments, fallacies, etc.

I think the youtuber took the entirely wrong tack to go for here. It fairly stinks of US-centric christian prudish "morals", and can't even distinguish between underage (18) and over the age of consent (15-16). Using the sloppy terms of "kids" and "children" can attest to that, as it spans the entire range, and sometimes more (pedo,hebe,and ephebe are actual proper terms). It would have been better to come at it from another angle than disparaging that women and girls show some ankle-skin. Heavens forbid they ever go to the beach. They should just be locked up at home and wear some sort of overall covering eh? /s.

But TikTok is not magic. It wouldn't have become nearly as popular if society wasn't so short-minded and prideful. Even if it was a social weapon developed by China, it doesn't take away the fact that we allowed it to work. Nah what I truly like about it is that I can sniff out information on these new platforms that otherwise would be completely deleted. I mean they delete stuff on Tiktok as well, but there is a slight short period of time where you are able to see the content and if interesting, even download it and save it for future reupload or for later watch. Very convinient in my opinion.

So therefore I hereby announce that I indeed like Tiktok. Much more than dead platforms like Youtube or Google. As soon as boomer mainstream and corporations gets hold of it, it's considered dead to me. Actually these platforms has been dead for over a decade. Instagram died like 2015. Today it is Tiktok that is the new hot babonkas. How ever I dislike the fact there's so many kids (and with comes the child predators/fbi) there. Maybe it's just me growing up to fast.

My greatest tips is, never grow up. That's what the government wants. Also, don't invest (divide yourself) into political propaganda "views". That's what the evil government wants. Only way they can create wars and shit. Is if people are angry at each others for no apparent reason or logic.

Always remember, there is a small portion of retarded phsycopaths up there pulling the strings for you petty pedestrians, trying to break the spirit of all comon citizens. Why? Omg, why do politicians become politiicans? Their big ego, their small sense of self. They need to parasite on others to survive. Be better than that yall. Improve yourselves.
