Help is needed! Keep in mind though that to keep things neat and clear, I will not accept any disorders that aren't listed in the DSM-V. Oh, and please refrain as much as possible from slapping PTSD on everything. I know it fits a lot of characters, but there's a lot more specific disorders than just that. Here's my list and short notes with them so far. When the basics are fully nailed out, I'll do full write-ups for each character. Oh, and if anyone needs a copy of the DSM-V by the way, let me know.

Calvin [Calvin and Hobbes] - Schizophrenia, possible ADHD Inattentive Type
Fight Club Narrator [Fight Club] - Insomnia, Major Depressive Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder (Sudden onset??)
Cortana [Halo 4] - Dementia, Non-Alzheimer's Type, Otherwise Unknown
Rick [Rick and Morty]- Major Depressive Disorder, Narcissism
Morty [Rick and Morty] - Anxiety
The Joker [The Dark Knight] -
Vaas [Far Cry 3] - Schizotypal Personality Disorder
Nicholas Angel [Hot Fuzz] - Asperger's
Shaun [of the Dead] -
Revy [Black Lagoon] - PTSD, ADHD Hyperactive Type
Rocket Raccoon [Guardians of the Galaxy] -
Andrew [Chronicle] -
Brennan Huff/Dale Doback [Step Brothers] -
Cale [Titan A.E.] - Abandonment
Bartleby Gaines [Accepted] - ADHD Inattentive Type
Alex Mason [Call of Duty: Black Ops] - Dissociative Disorder, Other Specified
Michael Westen [Burn Notice] -
Ahbed Nadir [Community] - Autism

Calvin definitely also had ADHD.
It's really hard to say, honestly. His schizophrenia is so intense that it could be just be that dragging his focus down as well. Definitely a possibility though! I'll put it down for now.

Sounds like a neat idea..though..Isn't it verging a bit on the "click-bait" side?

How so? Clickbait assumes that the title for the article is grandiose but incredibly lacking in content or the content is poorly researched. I also made sure not to "overdiagnose". I fully realize that just because some characters may have problems doesn't necessarily mean they have a mental disorder.

Maybe it might be seen as click-bait because it's a listicle, like: "Here are 12 Disney princesses re-imagined as phones!"

I'm not complaining, just giving a possible explanation

Houseman is quite correct..I was a bit ..overtired..and didn't read it properly..The "listicle" did make it appear like Click-bait.

Interesting Premise. Seems like it would require a lot of effort. I'd rather not try and use official terminology, too easy to get it wrong.

I'll remove the number 18 from the title then. lol

I'll most likely get something wrong, sure, but then again, as pointed out in the title, I'm making no illusions that these diagnoses are actually reliable. Also, if we don't use official terminology, we don't really have a standardized base to work off of, then the list just becomes a list of symptoms with no connection to anything, and I feel that would be pretty boring.

Cortana as of Halo 4 had Rampency.
Yes but, "it make more sense than you'd think though because the lead writer for Halo 4 based Cortana's rampancy off of his own struggles with dementia which a relative of his had." Also, the general symptoms of rampancy match the symptoms of dementia really well.

Halo: First Strike said:
"Smart" AIs are based on the neural patterns of a human being, and they have a limited lifespan of seven years after which their memory maps become too interconnected and develop fatal endless feedback loops
What is different about rampancy though from dementia is its cause. Dementia is a problem of mass degradation of the nerve cells. Rampancy is a storage issue.

I really meant specifically myself. I was going to argue that I find what's listed for Rick wrong. While doing so I noticed that my points really worked both ways, so I deleted the argument and decided I'll just wait for the finished article.

Again, I do have the DSM-5, so let me know if you need that.
