The biggest companies no longer advertising on Facebook due to the platform's lack of hate-speech moderation

Companies like The North Face and REI halted paid advertising on Facebook after criticisms over the platform's content-moderation practices mounted.

This isn't so much "the left infiltrating big tech" so much as it is big tech scampering to obey their advertising overlords. This is just a sign of how much big tech, and by extension, advertisers control what gets read by the public at large.
