As the dead internet theory becomes more and more of a thing, I made a sudden realization that what is now becoming the best place to find actual real breathing people on the internet and the best place to find actual handmade content is, ironically, in the forgotten corners of the internet. The small individual blog pages, old forums (of course), the obscure sites that people have put up and the mass public has forgotten about. Basically anywhere that corporate or political interests wouldn't have an interest in populating with bots. Naturally, old forums are the best place to seek out, but I think there is also gold in digging deeper when you can. Have you guys noticed the same?

Everything you said is true and I like to add on that you can find a lot of obscure info not to mention decades worth of it for what you need. Case in point I been playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2, and the game has a very in depth tuning system, but it will only tell you a little about it and you are left to figure the finer points out. Well I found a old Blogger or was it Blogspot site that someone made to document as much a he could about the system. They made a small forum to go with it with even more information on the game that helps out a lot. Now this example would never work now on the internet as it is now. One thing I do wish would happen if websites was optimized. Why do I need GBs of RAM just to view a site that has text on if the ads are going to eat everything? It feels counterintuitive to me.
