Oh, the usual stuff. Games, movies, p&p rpgs, music, bass guitar and the wholesale slaughter of millions of innocents and other such very normal, very non-threatening and certainly not violent things.

No, I don't.

The whole monkey business phd came from an in-joke between 2 friends and me, where they'd introduce themselves as candidates for PhDs in Physics and Criminology (because they actually were) and I would play along, claiming I was researching the economic consequences of excremental logistics on foreign markets or something like that, and then seeing how long it would take for people to figure out I was actually talking about flinging poo. I got quite good at it so sometimes that took surprisingly long.

Eventually, I turned the monkey professor into somewhat of an online persona. In most places my handle is actually Professor Chimp.

I work as a communications manager at Greenyard, which is a major distributor or fresh fruits & vegetables. I handle internal and external communication and I manage the commercial side of our ecommerce. It's not the most prestigious, but I make a good, reliable living off it, receive a healthy amount of benefits and I'm not on-the-job 24/7.

Unlike before, when I worked as a freelance journalist, mostly for men's magazines, but also some gaming magazines doing reviews and features. I liked doing that a lot (not that I dislike my current job), but I quit because I wanted something with better, more consistent wages, less hours and some actual job security.
