I have another idea for a CYOA, or at least a linear story I could write. It'd be set in a world where people have two powers, one associated with a "positive" emotion, and one associated with a negative emotion. The power associated with the negative emotion kills you, while the positive one can be used to kill others. A protagonist is trapped in a place with several others like him and they all have to battle-royale to escape and/or solve the mystery

I also want to do a "quest", where it's more free form, and people can just shout out things for the protag to do, rather than to pick from a list of options, but I'd need a restricted setting for that, like an escape room, I think.

On that note, why did everyone drop off of my other CYOA? Gimme criticism.

I dropped off because everyone decided the protag was just gonna lick the government's boots. >_>

BTW, I need to get at least some of the old smilies back in here. lol

I never joined in because it was too much to read for the sake of something I might entirely forget to participate in.

I dropped off because the actions performed from the answers were never any I had done or taken myself.
