So, Nintendo just announced new Pokemon Games!
Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!
So, what I was able to gather from the intial Trailer is the following:
That's what I can recall from a single viewing. The Games release, at least in my Area, on November 18, 2018.
Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!
So, what I was able to gather from the intial Trailer is the following:
- This is, to some degree a remake Gen of Red and Blue, though the attention to Pikachu and Eevee suggests a connection to Yellow Edition. I have only seen examples of the Original 150 Pokemon, however...
- The Game is connected to Pokemon Go to a not fully clear degree. Pokemon Go has more then the original 150. It is demonstrated that Pokemon caught in Go can be transferred to the Switch in a place called Go Park and...
- The Trailer does make mention of a special Pokemon
- Pokemon follow the Player.
- Pokemon will be, at least at times, on the Overworld.
- There is drop-in Multiplayer on 1 Console. Though it seems to go the Mario Odessey Route. The Trailer suggests, by showing the 2 Players trying to catch a single pokemon and the pokeball "fusing" that both players will be treated as a single entity, so it's unlikely they will have seperate Pokemon Pools to draw from or have the Ability to Battle each other, though they are shown to battle a single NPC, each with a Pokemon, together.
- There will be a Pokeball peripheral that the Game can be controlled with, it also allows to take your Pokemon with you.
- You now also literally "throw" the Pokeball when catching Pokemon in the (general) Style of Pokemon Go.
That's what I can recall from a single viewing. The Games release, at least in my Area, on November 18, 2018.
